BestSoCal Announces Sale of Martini Blues

Premier Huntington Beach Nightclub Sold To Las Vegas Entrepreneurs

SEAL BEACH, CA (10/25/07) -- BestSoCal brokered the sale of one of Orange County’s premiere, mid-sized dining and entertainment venues in Huntington Beach. Martini Blues - a nightclub, bar and restaurant established in 2001 - was sold by partners Robert Colosia, and Darlene and Wayne Mitcheltree. The new owners, Mick Martin and Bill Elsaesser, both residents of Las Vegas, have their own vision for the business.

Martini Blues is unique in the area, with three venues under one roof. The Celebrity Room, Legends Room and Comedy Room, feature a wide variety of live entertainment – jazz, blues, R&B, rock, jam nights, karaoke, comedy and more, and attract a loyal, upscale clientele.

Alan Lippincott, President of BestSoCal, a business brokerage firm, represented the owners and stated, “We could not have completed this challenging sale without the exceptional efforts of the buyers, sellers and advisors.” Mir Noorbash, President of Platinum Acceptance Corp. in Fountain Valley represented the buyers.

New owner Mick Martin never lost sight of his new vision for the business during the long sale and escrow. “Alan Lippincott kept the peace with everything…and kept everything on track through the long process.”

Martin will continue the traditions of live music and comedy, but, also has some exciting plans for the legendary nightclub -- 18 plasma screens will transform the Celebrity Room into a sports bar, and a Happy Hour will be added, along with a new menu, and champagne brunch.
